Job Description:-

We seek dedicated technical architects to join the rapidly growing Digital Experience Platform (DXP) industry provide valuable guidance to our expanding customer base. The candidate must have a sound knowledge of Acquia ecosystem and Drupal. 
 
Leveraging your expertise in digital delivery, you will play a pivotal role for our high-value customers across various sectors, including global sporting events, international news, media, and healthcare. 
 
You are expected to engage with multiple accounts, diverse technologies, and projects, potentially spanning different countries. This will accelerate your professional development and facilitate the exchange of solutions among customers. Face-to-face customer visits will be encouraged when possible, fostering strong relationships. 
 
Joining a global team of Technical Account Management and Marketing Consultants, you will offer advice and direction to customers while collaborating with local teams from various fields to ensure customer success. 
 
Understanding the landscape of DXP offering, covering CDN (Content Delivery Network), WAF (Web Application Firewall), DAM (Digital Asset Management), Personalization, Customer Data Platform (CDP), WCM (Drupal), Multisite, and Marketing Automation. 
 
Candidates must possess technical proficiency to engage with customers in person. A good understanding of Software Development lifecycle. CI/CD pipeline with a good understanding of virtualisation. A sound knowledge of public cloud and its services is an additional advantage. 

Responsibilities:-

  • Facilitate connections between customers and other subject matter specialists within Acquia.
  • Experience in diverse Drupal 8/9/10 projects (traditional – fully coupled; headless – fully decoupled with a presentation layer running on NodeJS + VueJS; hybrid – progressively decoupled)
  • Managing Drupal applications within the Acquia environment
  • Expertise in migrating content across various CMS (Content Management System) platforms and upgrading Drupal versions
  • Understanding of cache application layers, including Memcache, Varnish, and CDNs
  • Proficiency in Cloud architecture and configurations for Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
  • Strong object-oriented (OO) skills with in-depth knowledge of design patterns
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Familiarity with software best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI)
  • Leading development teams encompassing both frontend and backend engineers to successfully meet time-sensitive requirements
  • Managing large-scale projects involving vendor collaboration
  • Preference for candidates with experience in the news and publishing domain.
  • Provide consultation on various technical and strategic topics, including standard methodologies and delivery strategies with Acquia products, including cloud hosting.
  • Listen to customers and identify their business drivers.
  • Formulate platform strategies to achieve customer business goals.
  • Identify business risks and propose technical solutions to mitigate them.
  • Communicate with customers clearly and courteously, both verbally and in writing.
  • Engage with stakeholders through various mediums, including video calls, phone conferences, email, chat, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Efficiently manage multiple requests from diverse customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to address technical and customer service challenges.
  • Often required to travel to customer locations. [30-50% based on the client’s requirement]
  • Optimize the performance of Drupal websites, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
  • Ability to guide the team to implement caching strategies and other performance improvement techniques.
  • Work as part of a project team that typically includes a technical project manager, developers, designers, and quality assurance specialist.

  • 12-15 years of experience in design, development, and support of large-scale digital solutions.

  • Contributions to open-source projects and involvement in open-source communities.
  • Leadership of a delivery team, solution architecture, or subject matter expertise in a specific field.
  • Exposure to enterprise or government delivery environments.
